Americans Fred Kerley and Christian Coleman headline the strong field for the 100m at the Shanghai/Suzhou Diamond League Meeting scheduled for April 27 in China.
Coleman, the 60m world record holder, has had a great start to his season, winning the 60m title at the World Indoor Championships by beating triple world champion Noah Lyles.
He heads to China confident of doing wonders one more time as he builds up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games later this year.

Fred Kerley has expressed admiration for Africa’s fastest man following the powerful quote he shared on his social media on Thursday.
Last September, Coleman won the Xiamen Diamond League and tied Lyles’ and Zharnel Hughes’ world-leading 9.83 for the 100m.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Coleman said: “I’m excited about coming to China to compete again. Last time I was there they showed a lot of love and support and I was able to pull out my best performance of the year in front of a great crowd.
“I’m looking forward to opening my season with another great performance in China and starting my Olympic campaign off on a great note.”

He will be up against his compatriot, Kerley who has also had a great start to his season and he will also be eyeing a slot for the Olympic Games.
The Olympic Games silver medallist made his 60m debut this year at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix and finished an impressive fourth in the race that was won by Lyles.
He then made his outdoor debut at the Hurricane Invitational, winning in an impressive time of 10.03 and he will be hoping to build on that going to China.
