A DEVASTATED Irish couple are “wishing for a miracle” after losing their new engagement ring on St Patrick’s weekend.

Mark and Orla, who have been together for six years and have two children together, issued a desperate appeal to find the ring.

Mark Fearon took to X (formerly Twitter) to plea for help to find his fiancée’s new ring after it got lost over St Patrick’s weekend.

He mentioned that they only had the engagement ring for two days before it was lost.

The ring was on her finger but was too loose and had been removed in the hope that would keep it safer.

Mark claimed that the ring was left behind in a Dublin Taxi and he had no trace of the driver’s details as he only paid in cash and received no receipt.

The couple got the silver taxi from Baggot St at around midnight on March 16, the day before St Patrick’s Day.

The word “divorce” certainly doesn’t have a nice ring to it.

And when Lauren Boc’s ex-husband unexpectedly demanded one in October, just four months after they’d tied the knot, the heartbroken Brooklynite found herself in a painfully dark place.

But rather than sulk into the gloominess of sudden singleness, the artsy millennial decided to brighten things up a bit.

“I custom made my own divorce ring,” Boc, 35, of Fort Greene, told The Post of her 18-carat yellow gold loop boasting a 4-carat Ascher-cut, lab-grown diamond.

Her brilliant bauble is loosely inspired by her $6,000 art deco style engagement ring, featuring emerald caliber-cut stones haloing a 1.75-carat round rock. Its luxe look, too, is a nod to a platinum 3.7-carat emerald cut ring the brunette designed and engraved to wear on her right hand during her June 2023 nuptials.

And she’s far from the only divorcée to deck herself out in “we’re done” diamonds.

Model and author Emily Ratajkowski has put a new spin on engagement rings by splitting her diamond in two and hailing it The Divorce Ring.

EmRata split from film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard – with whom she shares a three-year-old son – in September 2022 after four years of marriage. She is now celebrating her “personal evolution” through bling.

“I don’t think a woman should be stripped of her diamonds just because she’s losing a man,” she told Vogue.

In a recent string of snaps shared to Instagram, the My Body author shows off the stunning new addition designed by Alison Lou, a luxury jeweler who initially designed her original engagement ring.

“This is just … ICONIC,” one person responded, while another wrote: “If ever a post deserved a ‘love this’ its this one.”

A third added: “Big Boy Moves my friend.”

The inspiration came from Stephanie Danler’s essay The Unravelers.

“[It] includes the story of her grandmother’s snake ring—a ring that is made up of the different stones from her various marriages,” Ratajkowski told the publication. “I loved the idea of a ring unabashedly representing the many lives a woman has lived.”
