Mark Fearon took to X (formerly Twitter) to plea for help to find his fiancée’s new ring after it got lost over St Patrick’s weekend.
He mentioned that they only had the engagement ring for two days before it was lost.
The ring was on her finger but was too loose and had been removed in the hope that would keep it safer.
Mark claimed that the ring was left behind in a Dublin Taxi and he had no trace of the driver’s details as he only paid in cash and received no receipt.
The couple got the silver taxi from Baggot St at around midnight on March 16, the day before St Patrick’s Day.
He shared a picture of a gorgeous engagement ring with a silver band and a round-cut diamond.
The heartbroken couple are hoping for “a miracle” that someone will find the ring and return it to them.
Mark said: “Last night at midnight myself & Orla got a Dublin Taxi from Baggot St. We had the engagement ring only two days. We left it in the back of the taxi.

‘IRISH WELCOME’
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport made a lovely gesture for passengers arriving in Ireland for St Patrick’s Day by ensuring “an Irish welcome.”
Passengers arriving at Dublin Airport were greeted by a “surprise performance” to welcome them to Ireland for St Patrick’s Day.
Captioning the post on X, they said: “Passengers arriving for St Patrick’s Day received an Irish welcome as a surprise performance took over Terminal 1.”
In the video, people were seen waiting for passengers to come out of the arrival gates at Terminal 1 as many people came to Ireland to visit their families or celebrate the event.
As many passengers started to come out of the arrival gates, a couple of men came out of the crowd and started singing in front of the crowd, shocking those in attendance.
And more people then started to join in to form a large choir group to give the passengers “an Irish welcome”.
Many passengers were amazed by the sudden “surprise performance” as they stopped for a minute to watch the choir.
The performance concluded after nearly two minutes, with passengers applauding the incredible performance.
